In the first few sessions with any new student, I tend to avoid being too prescriptive in my approach. Instead, I work to understand exactly where he or she is struggling and attempt to determine the best possible course of action in order to achieve the target score.

My favorite teacher was my middle school history teacher, Mr. Cook. He made history and social studies very engaging and is part of the reason why I am such a history and geopolitical buff to this very day!
