How does your application process work?

The first step is to fill out the application form above. It should take about 5-10 minutes to complete.

Once we receive your application, we'll review it and follow up within 7-10 business days with one of the following decisions:

Acceptance
Rejection
Request for More Information
Deferred Acceptance

If you're accepted, we'll ask for some documentation to verify your financial need.

Once this verification is completed, we'll schedule an interview to discuss your goals and timeline.

The final step will be a reference check, after which we'll connect you with your assigned tutor and you'll be able to start with tutoring!

What do you look for when evaluating prospective scholarship recipients?

Given the extremely limited number of scholarships we are able to offer each year, we want to make sure that we are awarding them to highly motivated and ambitious students.

Our ideal scholarship recipient is a self-starter who has made a substantive effort to study on their own before turning to us for support.

We don't have specific GPA requirements, but we expect that candidates will be above-average students.

Do you offer full-scholarships?

We believe that it's crucial for everyone to have some "skin in the game," so we do not offer 100% scholarships.

Instead, we work with students and their families to determine a meaningful yet affordable hourly rate, which is typically an 60-90% discount off the normal rate for that service.

Scholarship recipients are subject to the same cancellation and rescheduling policies as our full-paying clients.

Can I choose my tutor?

No, but you'll have an opportunity to share your preferences with us if you are accepted. We'll do our best to make it work.
